Clarity Telehealth provides medical consultations via telephone and video by AHPRA-registered doctors. Our services aim to deliver safe, accessible, and high-quality care in accordance with Australian medical standards.
 

Scope of Services
 

Telehealth consultations may be suitable for:
 

  • General medical consultations

  • Ongoing or stable conditions

  • Medical certificates

  • Preventive and lifestyle care
     

Some conditions require in-person assessment, and patients will be advised accordingly.
 

Clinical Limitations
 

Telehealth consultations are limited by the absence of physical examination. Clinical decisions rely on the information provided by the patient.
 

If required, patients may be advised to:
 

  • Attend in-person care

  • Seek urgent medical attention

  • Obtain further investigations
     

Prescribing Policy
 

Prescriptions are issued following clinical assessment and at the doctor’s discretion.
 

Clarity Telehealth does not prescribe restricted medications, including:

  • Opioids

  • Benzodiazepines

  • Drugs of dependence
     

New medications may require a full consultation and are not suitable for express services.
 

Medical Certificates
 

Medical certificates are issued based on clinical assessment and:
 

  • Cannot be backdated

  • Are provided only where appropriate
     

Privacy & Confidentiality
 

All consultations are conducted in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Patient information is kept secure and confidential. 

We use secure, Australian-based clinical software systems to manage appointments, clinical records, and electronic prescribing. These systems are used solely to support your care and comply with applicable privacy and healthcare regulations.

By proceeding with this consultation, you acknowledge and consent to your information being securely stored and processed through these systems as part of delivering healthcare services. 

Fees and Payments
All consultations require payment at the time of booking.
 

Emergencies
 

Telehealth is not suitable for emergencies.
 

If you are experiencing a medical emergency:
 

  • Call 000

  • Attend your nearest emergency department
     

Regulatory Compliance
 

All doctors are registered with AHPRA and follow Medical Board of Australia guidelines.
